Tencent announces server of PUBG MOBILE and service is now stopped in India

As per the government order, PUBG Mobile and PUBG Lite and 117 other apps have been banned in India due to security reasons and they have also been removed from Google Play.

Those people who had already this game on their mobiles were playing this game and also those who were downloading this game from other websites and playing this game from October 30 will no longer access to play this game.

Tencent company has posted announcements on their gaming community forum and their website too, that they are going to stop all their services, and servers are now stopped in India. The player would not be able to play this game with the help of their server because they are shutting down their server from 30 October.

They wrote, 

Dear Fans, To comply with the interim order of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology dated September 2, 2020, Tencent Games will terminate all service and access for users in India to PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik and PUBG MOBILE Lite (together, “PUBG Mobile”) on October 30, 2020. The rights to publish PUBG MOBILE in India will be returned to the owner of the PUBG intellectual property"

Protecting user data has always been a top priority and we have always complied with applicable data protection laws and regulations in India. All users’ gameplay information is processed in a transparent manner as disclosed in our privacy policy.

 

We deeply regret this outcome, and sincerely thank you for your support and love for PUBG MOBILE in India" Tencent wrote on their Facebook page and on their website."

Now the users will not be able to play the PUBG MOBILE version on their phone and no ability to download from Google Play Store and from Apple play store. But in that, there is one drawback user who uses strong and good VPN they able to bypass the restrictions.

But will be illegal to use any app if the country's government ban any app, especially when a matter arises for security reasons.

Users of PUBG can play the PC version of PUBG because PUBG Mobile was originally oriented by PUBG game which is pc version and this was developed by PUBG Corporation a South Korean gaming company.
