Aarogya Setu app has gained 100M+ downloads | 1m+ reviews with a 4.2* rating on the google play store this is just because of lots of promotions and lots of encouragement which is done by the Indian government.

But now 7 months after many questions are arising related to this app like who created this app, who is the real developers of this app, and why in the initials day's government forced more to download this app.

"The Arogya Setu App was developed in a record time of about 21 days, with the industry, academics at its best to respond to epidemic problems with the lockdown ban aimed at building a Made in India contact tracing app Was with the Indian mind. According to the Arogya Setu website, it was developed by the National Informatics Center and the Ministry of Information Technology, but according to the Central Information Commission, various ministries and departments had given "clear answers" to the Right to Information (RTI), they have no idea who created Arogya Setu app.

The NIC (National Informatics Center) who has developed and designed a government website, denied any knowledge about the Aarogya Setu app and they have no knowledge about who created this app and how it has been created.

On Wednesday after clarification that the National Information Commission had issued a notice to the government about a "clear answer" who created this app and which government pushes it as an essential tool about fighting against coronavirus.

Activist Saurav Das had complained to the Information Commission the National e-Governance Division (Negidi), and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology have failed to give an answer who created and how the app was proposed and approved and which Companies, individuals, and government departments are involved and who helped develop this app

"There is not any relation to the creation of this app with NIC," The National Informatics Center said. The IT Ministry transferred the query to the National e-Governance Division, stating: "The information sought is not related to our Division.
